Licensed, verifiable, and immaculate
Every treatment at Palomino is delivered by a fully licensed Texas practitioner under strict hygiene standards. Julie K. O’Leary holds active Texas licensure in both acupuncture and massage therapy — and every credential below can be independently verified with the issuing state authority.

How we keep every session clean and safe
A boutique studio should feel as clean as it is calm. These are the standards Julie holds on every visit.
Single-use, sterile needles
Every acupuncture needle is sterile, single-use, and disposable, meeting U.S. FDA standards. Needles are opened in front of you and discarded in a sharps container after a single use — never reused.
Fresh linens every session
Sheets, bolster covers, and face-cradle covers are laundered and changed between every client, so you always meet a freshly prepared table.
Surface disinfection
The treatment table, hard surfaces, and high-touch points are disinfected between clients with appropriate cleaning agents.
Hand hygiene
Julie washes and sanitizes her hands before and after every treatment, and again at any point a session calls for it.
Tool sterilization
Reusable tools such as cups and gua sha implements are cleaned and sterilized between clients according to accepted infection-control practice.
A single, careful practitioner
Because Julie is the only person who treats you, safety and cleanliness are held to one consistent standard, every visit — no rotating staff or shared responsibility.
Questions about safety are always welcome
If you have a specific health condition, a bleeding disorder, are pregnant, or take blood-thinning medication, let Julie know before your visit so treatment can be adapted or, when appropriate, deferred to your physician. See our policies and health guidance for details.
