Therapeutic Massage in Marble Falls, TX
Therapeutic massage is custom, hands-on bodywork booked by the hour, with pressure and technique tuned to your body and goals that day. Julie draws on deep tissue, Swedish, lymphatic drainage, tui na, cupping, and gua sha to ease tension, support circulation, and calm the nervous system. Because she is also a licensed acupuncturist, the bodywork is informed by a whole-body, orthopedic lens most massage-only providers cannot offer.
Why choose Therapeutic Massage
- One flexible session tuned to you — relaxation, deep tissue, or a blend
- May help ease muscular tension, stiffness, and everyday stress for many people
- Slow, rhythmic work supports a parasympathetic shift, better sleep, and calmer mood
- Longer 90 and 120-minute options for full-body or multi-region work
- Guided by a 20+ year LMT who also reads the body through an acupuncturist lens
Your visit, step by step
Before
You and Julie talk through where you hold tension, your pressure preference, and any injuries or health conditions. She plans a sequence and checks in on comfort throughout.
During
Sessions typically open with warming Swedish strokes, move into targeted work where your body needs it, and finish with flushing, down-regulating strokes so you leave settled rather than wound up.
After
Most people feel loose and calm. Deeper work can leave mild next-day soreness similar to a workout; hydration, gentle movement, and warmth ease it.
Simple, published rates
Prices are current and subject to confirmation at booking. Many clients use HSA or FSA funds for acupuncture — ask about a receipt.

Therapeutic Massage questions
01What kind of massage will I get?
Whatever suits you that day. Julie tailors the session — lighter Swedish for relaxation and sleep, firmer deep-tissue work for chronic tension, or a blend — and adjusts pressure in real time based on your feedback.
02Which length should I book?
Sixty minutes suits focused work on one or two areas; 90 minutes allows fuller-body or multi-region work; 120 minutes is best for comprehensive, unhurried sessions. Julie can help you choose when you book.
03Is massage safe if I have a health condition?
Often yes, with the right modifications, but some conditions — blood clots, certain cancers, recent injuries or surgery, and pregnancy — call for a modified approach or medical clearance. Share your history so Julie can adapt safely.
04Will I be sore afterward?
After deeper work, mild soreness for a day or two is normal and self-limiting, much like post-exercise soreness. Lasting or severe soreness means the next session should be lighter — tell Julie so she can dial it in.
